From the Tigers Den
A Message from the Principal
February can feel like one of the longest months of the school year. The excitement of the new semester has settled, the weather is cold, and students can start to feel tired or stuck in a routine. This time of year is when focus, consistency, and encouragement matter most.
We continue to work with students on staying organized, keeping up with assignments, asking for help when needed, and showing kindness to those around them. Small daily habits — getting enough sleep, staying on top of schoolwork, and treating others with respect — make a big difference.
Middle school is a time of growth, learning, and big emotions, and we are proud of how our Tigers continue to show resilience and support one another. Let’s finish winter strong and keep working together to help every student succeed.

School Counselor Week
Thank you to Ms. Andrews, Mrs. Dempewolf and Mrs. Gardner
This week we celebrate our incredible school counselors and all the ways they support our students each and every day.
From helping students navigate friendships and big emotions to supporting academic planning, problem-solving, and personal growth, our counselors are a trusted listener, advocate, and champion for kids. The work they do often happens behind the scenes, but the impact is felt throughout our entire building.
We are so thankful for the care, compassion, and dedication they show our Tigers every day. Be sure to take a moment to say thank you for all they do!
