Thank You - 48,000 times!
I just wanted to take a moment to give a huge shoutout to all of you for your incredible fundraising efforts for this year's Jog for Jefferson! Thanks to your hard work and support, we're excited to share that we've raised over $48,000 for the PTO! Your generosity and dedication mean the world to us, and we can't thank you enough for all that you do for our school community. Your contributions will make a real difference in enhancing the educational experience for all our students, and we're so grateful for your ongoing support. This event would mot have been possible without our amazing committee of volunteers! Our Jefferson families are amazing, and we can't wait to put these funds to good use for our students and staff. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
One last request this week...
Your assistance is needed for planting new landscaping this weekend! We all know that ... "Teamwork makes the dream work, and have heard... many hands make light work." So let's join together and make our front landscaping look inviting and beautiful for our students and visitors! (see the sign-up below)

Smartwatch Expectations
We'd like to remind you of our school policy regarding smartwatches. Smartwatches are allowed in watch mode only during school hours. Smartwatches are becoming a distraction in the classroom. We believe that it is important for students to focus on their learning without any unnecessary interruptions.
We assure you that students always have the option to use the school office phone to call home if needed, and should parent need to get a hold of their child, parents are asked to call the office, and we will promptly deliver any messages to your child. We kindly request that parents refrain from texting their children during the school day or expecting their child to text them.
If a smartwatch or cell phone use is in violation of our policy, we will kindly ask students to keep their smartwatch in their book bags during school hours to ensure a focused and productive learning environment for all students. If there is a second infraction the watch will be kept in the office for the day. A third infraction will require that a parent pick up the watch or cell phone from the office.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a positive and focused learning environment for all students.
On Time Arrivals!
Believe Like Noah Long!
The "Believe Noah Long Award" is given in honor of Noah Long, a former Jefferson student who was part of the Lincoln High School Cross Country program and demonstrated unwavering perseverance and a positive spirit. The students recognized for this award consistently went out of their way to help and encourage others, never gave up in the face of challenges, and always strived to do their best during the 2024 Jog for Jefferson. The award is a tribute to the values embodied by Noah Long and serves as a recognition of each recipient's outstanding character and contributions during the Jog for Jefferson event. A student from each classroom was nominated, and one student per grade level was awarded this honor and received a special "Believe" t-shirt.
Congratulations to all our nominees!
