Home & School Happenings

As fellow parents of Mill Street Students, Home & School encourages and facilitates a cooperative partnership among our students, parents/guardians, and school staff and administration. H&S is our school’s version of a PTO or PTA, and our goal is to support and enhance the school experience of each student. There are no dues--just an open invitation to stay informed and get involved at whatever level you can. We look forward to and appreciate your involvement!

Join us for a fun 'getting-to-know-you' playdate for all new kindergarten students and their families. The kids will love playing on the playground, making new friends, and enjoying popsicles. At the same time, parents and guardians will have the chance to mingle and chat.

Parents and students will also have an opportunity to participate in a guided tour of the school - a great opportunity to quell those "new school scaries" and get your questions answered!

If you will be attending the afternoon Popsicles on the Playground event, you will get a tour of the school then and do not need to attend the new family tours.

🍀 Feeling lucky? Test your luck in our 50/50 raffle for a chance to win some extra cash. At our last Ice Cream Social, Mill Street families took home over $500 in winnings!

📝 Make the first day of school a little less stressful by bringing your student's school supplies to Ice Cream Social. We'll deliver them straight to your student's classroom, ready to go!

🍦An adult (parent/guardian, family member, babysitter, etc.) must be present. This is a family friendly event and all are welcome to attend! We hope to see you there!

**Food/drink tickets purchased after August 7th are $1 per ticket. All sales are final.

New this year - we are calling on parents to help us make this year's Ice Cream Social a success! Don't worry, volunteer slots are only 30 minutes, so you can volunteer and still enjoy all of the festivities.
