Elementary School Newsletter
November 2025
đź‘‹ Dear Abby Kelley Foster families,
Dear Parents and Guardians:
This memo did not make it out to all as we had a glitch- but not to fear!!
As a reminder, all students need yearly physical, emergency medication forms, and vaccinations on record with the school to attend. Please make sure that your child has everything needed to succeed this year.
Chromebooks have been assigned to all students, if you are interested in insurance for your student's device please let the teacher know and they will supply a form from the office. Students are responsible for appropriately handling their technology. Please note that headphones have also been supplied to students and if damaged the cost is $15 to replace. These are adapted to be used for hearing as well as speaking into the systems we utilize. If you sent your child in with headphones, they can use the Home Provided headphones first or take them home when they complete iReady minutes at home.
If you or a member of your community would like to help with this year's Book Fair, please sign up using this link to support Ms. Arnold in her question to help everyone read!

Book Fair!
Get ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way (YAY!). Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them on their journey to becoming lifelong readers. AND—as always—every purchase at the Fair benefits our school.
Here’s the schedule for the big event at the School Library:
- November 17 - 21: the book fair is held during your child’s regular library class.
- November 19 (Wednesday): We will be open from 5 - 6:30 pm during Family Learning Night. The Worcester Public Library will also be present to distribute free public library cards.
- November 24 - 25: Come after your Teacher Conferences from Noon until 3 pm.
Ways to pay: say goodbye to cash and hello to eWallet—your child’s digital payment account. Before the Fair, set up eWallet for worry-free, cash-free purchases. Anyone can contribute! Share each child’s eWallet so friends and family can add funds and give your kids more books to enjoy. We accept cash, a check made out to Abby Kelley Foster Charter School and credit card. Please note that sales tax will be charged at the book fair. We will be rounding up all transactions to the nearest dollar and using the change to help support students who cannot afford to purchase a new book.
If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Book Fair online. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $35. Every online purchase will also benefit our school.
Visit our Book Fair homepage to learn more and get started with eWallet and online shopping:
