FFE Grant Application
WLCSD's educators are invited to submit a Foundation for Excellence 2019-20 Mini-Grant Application now through Jan. 10, 2020 for qualifying funds to benefit K-12 students.
Visit the Foundation for Excellence-Grant website for details and see list of last year's awards or click on links below. NOTE: Walled Lake Schools Google Apps account must be utilized to access application and resources.
DETAILS:
- Grant request's budget should not exceed $400.
- Budgets exceeding $400 may be submitted for consideration that impact large student population (i.e. grade level, entire school or multiple schools).
- Literacy packages provided for consideration.
- Applications accepted for assemblies that provide anti-bullying education.
- Requests will not be accepted for mobile devices or flexible seating options. The approved 2019 Buildings, Infrastructure and Equity Bond includes funding for furniture for collaborative learning spaces.
- Limit individual grant requests to one per faculty member.
- $250 THANK YOU GRANT: Drawing in June among WL schools in appreciation for promoting Foundation's mission, activities and fundraisers this school year.
Count On Me
Thank you Count on Me contributors for your donations to the Foundation for Excellence through WLCSD payroll! Your buck-a-pay (and more) donations are channeled into WL schools' K-12 classrooms through the FFE annual mini-grant program.
The Foundation invites our District to help maximize the power of a buck-a-pay and complete online Count On Me Payroll Authorization or complete Count on Me form and submit accordingly.
NEW & ENROLLED COUNT ON ME CONTRIBUTORS: Drawing this December for (1) administrator and (1) faculty/staff member to be invited to schedule a half day off of school and Supt. Gutman will be the sub!
