We are pleased to present the Blue Mountain Union Annual report, the Thetford Town School District Annual Report, and the OESU Annual Report - see the links above. The Oxbow Unified Union and Waits River Valley Annual Reports are in progress and will also be distributed in a few weeks.

Town Meeting Day is Tuesday, March 3. Please connect with your local town offices for voting information because every vote matters. Your voice matters. Your school priorities helped shape our school budgets, and your participation is essential to school success. Public schools are a public good. Thank you for your continued support.

Here is the most recent Superintendent Report from February 17. It contains information about all our school budgets, both those that have been warned and those that are still in progress. There are also links to all the current education legislation.

On February 19, the Vermont Agency of Education released its 2024/2025 School Snapshot Reports, providing an overview of school performance across the state. Designed as an online tool to promote transparency the Annual Snapshot evaluates key areas such as academic achievement and student growth, offering communities insights into each schools progress and success. If you would like to review OESU’s Snapshot, here is the link. Rick Dustin-Eichler, OESU Director of Curriculum and Instruction will be sending out more information on our curriculum initiatives today. Orange East Supervisory Union (OESU) is located in the beautiful Upper Valley of the Connecticut River, The Central Office is located in Bradford, Vermont. The SU includes Blue Mountain Union School, Bradford Elementary School, Newbury Elementary School, Oxbow Middle High School, River Bend Career and Technical Center, Thetford Elementary School, and Waits River Valley School. The Supervisory Union proudly serves and connects the towns of Bradford, Newbury, Corinth, Groton, Ryegate, Thetford, Topsham, Wells River and local tuition towns. We all work together to support student learning and improve educational outcomes.
