🌰 PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
MGES Families,
This coming week, our school will be conducting a lockdown drill as part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe and prepared learning environment for all students and staff. These drills are a routine part of our safety practices and help ensure that everyone knows what to do in the event of an emergency.
In preparation, teachers will take time early in the week to review safety expectations and procedures with students in an age-appropriate and reassuring manner. The goal is to help students feel informed and confident about what to do should a real emergency occur. Our goal is not to make students anxious but to ensure that students know what to do in the event of an emergency.
I have included a copy of our Upper Dublin School District Safety Response Procedures for your reference. We encourage families to review these procedures together and discuss the importance of safety preparedness in a calm and supportive way.
Finally, I wanted to remind parents using our 3rd-5th grade carline for your patience as we have many more buses and transportations vehicles that drop-off during our arrival and dismissal times.
Thank you for your continued partnership in keeping our school community safe and prepared.
Warmest regards,
Mr. Perez

💡HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE GLEN
Science classroom visits
Several district administrators visited classrooms today during science lessons, and we were thoroughly impressed by the level of student engagement and discourse taking place. Students demonstrated strong use of scientific vocabulary as they explored and discussed their investigations. The hands-on experiments from the F.O.S.S. program truly brought science to life—encouraging curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking. It was inspiring to see our students so actively involved in constructing their understanding through exploration and inquiry.
