Attendance Shout-Out — Great Job, Dragons!

We want to recognize four classes for their excellent attendance last week!

A big congratulations to Ms. Soule's class for having 100% attendance! Not one student was absent the entire week!

We also want to recognize three more classes:

  • Ms. Ramirez's class — 99% attendance

  • Ms. Little's class — 99% attendance

  • Ms. Amy Lewis's class — 99% attendance

Great job to all four classes!

Being at school every day is important. When students are healthy and attend school regularly, they have more time to learn and grow.

Thank you, families, for getting your children to school each day! Let's see which classes make our list next week!

November is Native American Heritage Month!

November is Native American Heritage Month! This month, we honor Native American people, their history, cultures, and contributions to our country.

Native Americans were the first people to live on this land. Here in the Sacramento region, we recognize the Nisenan and Miwok people, whose history and traditions are an important part of our community.

Native Americans have contributed to art, science, agriculture, medicine, and much more. Their cultures and traditions continue today.

At Dyer Kelly, we believe it is important for our students to learn about Native American history and respect the people and cultures that helped shape our country.

Breakfast Ends at 7:35 AM

Beginning this week, students must be inside the cafeteria by 7:35 AM to eat breakfast.

We have too many students arriving late for breakfast, which keeps the cafeteria full when class begins at 7:45 AM. This is causing students to be late to class.

If your child eats breakfast at school, please arrive a little earlier so they have enough time to eat and get to class on time.

Thank you for helping our Dragons start their day ready to learn!

If you see someone entering the secured campus after hours, please call the non-emergency number at 916-874-5115.

Thank you for helping us keep our students and campus safe.
