CLIFFORD SPOTLIGHT: 8TH GRADE BASKETBALL
Congratulations to Our 8th Grade Basketball Champions! 🏀
We are excited to share some fantastic news - our 8th grade basketball team brought home their 4th consecutive championship trophy!
Over the past four seasons, the team has compiled an incredible record of approximately 47–1, a true testament to their hard work, dedication, and teamwork. This season, they showed tremendous grit with several come-from-behind victories and continued to grow both as athletes and as young men.
What stands out most is their sportsmanship and character. Even in the face of challenges or taunting, they handled themselves with maturity and respect - choosing to seek support from coaches and referees rather than respond negatively. We are so proud of the way they represented our school both on and off the court.
Most importantly, they had fun and came together as a strong, united team as the season progressed.
Congratulations to our championship team:
Jalen Garcia
Caleb Martin
Sterling Tidwell
Connor Ahmann
Beckett McGlennon
Alexander Lizama (Daniel)
Sam Averill

Way to go, Dolphins! 🎉

APRIL CHARACTER TRAIT OF THE MONTH
This month’s focus isCooperation. One way to thinkabout Cooperation is “working together to reach shared goals.” As a family, talk about how this definition applies to how you work together at home. What are some goals you share?
Cooperation is 1 of 3 traits we will focus on throughout the year that helps students Be Kind. Throughout the school, students will be developing skills like perspective-taking, conflict resolution, and leadership.
Have some fun connecting as a family this month while practicing Cooperation. This week, plan a time where everyone needs to work together to accomplish a shared goal like cleaning up the space you live in or making a meal together. Make sure everyone has a role to play with specific tasks. When the project is complete, discuss and celebrate how each person’s part was important to the end result.
