Study Abroad
In partnership with Central Georgia Technical College
Earn academic credit through authentic international experiences.
Together with Central Georgia Technical College, students will have the opportunity to travel to either Tanzania or Ireland.
Ireland Study Abroad Program Requirements:
Students must have successfully completed English 1101 in order to register for Humanities 1101. Each student will enroll in HUMN 1101 Introduction to Humanities - 3 credit hours. Earned credits are transferrable to other 4-year institutions throughout Georgia.
Students must have a valid passport or be willing to pay for an passport
Space is LIMITED to 10!
Trip cost will be minimal ( Covered cost includes flight, in-country travel, admission to museums, excursions and most meals!!!!
Trip Dates: June 9-17, 2027
Location: County Donegal, Ireland
Eligibility: Must have completed English 1101 and be 16 or older
Acceptance Decision will be made by Friday, November 13th
Tanzania Study Abroad Program Requirements:
Students must have successfully completed two dual enrollment classes with a "B" or higher. Students will earn a World History credit for the trip to Tanzania.
Students must have a valid passport or be willing to pay for an passport
Space is LIMITED to 4!
Trip cost will be minimal ( Covered cost includes flight, in-country travel, admission to museums, excursions and most meals!!!!

Location: Tanzania
Eligibility: Must have completed two Dual enrollment courses with a "B" or higher and be 17 or older
Acceptance Decision will be made by Friday, November 13th
