Principal's Message
Dear Maple Glen Families -
We ended the semester on a high note with a fantastic Spirit Week. It was fun to see the excitement, creativity, and school pride from our students and staff. It was a fun and festive way to close out the first part of the year.
We are looking forward to welcoming students back rested and ready for the second half of the school year. There is so much to be excited about as we continue learning together.
Wishing you a safe, happy, and relaxing winter break. We look forward to seeing everyone in the new year.
Tiffany Buzan
Student of the Month
Congratulations to Aiden Dugar for being named Maple Glen's December Student of the Month. Aiden is in Mrs. Meyer's 3rd grade class and was nominated by the Maple Glen related arts teachers. Congrats, Aiden! We are so proud of you.
Car Line Procedure Change
If you drop your child off in the morning, please make sure to read the letter sent out today detailing some adjustments that we are making to adjust the flow of traffic exiting Maple Glen - especially in the morning. Starting Tuesday, January 6th, exiting in the morning will be a RIGHT TURN only.
For 1st-4th grader drop off, students will exit their vehicles only when the car is pulled alongside the sidewalk.
Please reach out if you have any questions!

Talking Points
Westfield Washington Schools usesTalkingPoints to communicate with families! TalkingPoints allows for seamless multilingual two-way communication between teachers and families. Families can choose to receive messages via SMS text messaging or through the free FAMILIES | TalkingPoints mobile app for Apple or Android.
This platform has enhanced translation capabilities, so families can receive and send messages in their preferred language. Additional tools like speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and closed captioned videos make this program accessible to all of our Westfield families.
The most important thing you can do to ensure you are receiving messages from your child’s teacher is to make sure your contact information for the “Father” and “Mother” fields in PowerSchool is correct. When a teacher sends out a message, TalkingPoints will automatically use those two phone numbers. If you’d like to add additional contacts, please reach out to your child’s teachers.
