Halloween Party & Parade Visitors

This is a friendly reminder that parents are welcomed to the Halloween parties. Siblings under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or they will not be allowed to enter Fullerton. Siblings must be supervised by their parents and stay with you the entire time they are here. This is not an appropriate time to visit other classrooms or wander the hallways. If students are not with a parent, they will be asked to wait outside.

Just a few other reminders for everyone:

  1. All students must be picked every night from school by no later than 4:15 PM. Our staff must remain on duty until all students are accounted for.
  2. All students must be with an adult for supervision until 8:30 AM. Please do not send your child to school before 8:30 AM.
  3. Please continue to review the arrival and dismissal procedures below. It is important to remain patient at pick-up and drop-off.
  4. Remember to use the crosswalks around the parking lot to cross the street.
  5. Starting today, all students are walking into the building and to their classrooms by themselves. They can do it!
  6. Remember to check your child's backpack every night. Important school documents come home every Thursday.

School starts at 8:50 AM and dismisses at 4:05 PM.

Remember to "like" us on Facebook. The morning announcements and important information can be found on Facebook and the school website. Links are at the bottom of this newsletter.

Halloween: Costumes, parade and parties

Be sure to make plans to join us for our Halloween Parade at 2:30 PM on Friday, October 30th. Classroom parties will immediately follow the parade. Parents are invited to stand around the walking trail to watch the parade. The parade will start in the building, then make its way out the front doors and around the walking trail. We ask that students bring their costumes with them in their backpacks and NOT wear them to school. Students will have time to change before the parade.

Costumes should be easy to change into and not be overly scary since we have very young students that will be participating. All accessories (fake weapons and other items) should be left at home. The parade will start at 2:30 pm and last about 20 minutes.

Safety Protocols for Visitors

1. All visitors will sign-in and have to take a picture and wear a special badge upon entry.

2. During the 1st week of school (August 19 - 28th), parents will be allowed to walk their child to the room. Starting Monday, August 31st, parents will drop students off at the door and students will walk to class on their own. I know this will be a change for some, but it really is for all of our students and staff safety. Please know that if you have a student struggling, we will support you. Feel free to contact Mrs. Lasky or the office if you need assistance with this.
