Hello! My name is Mrs. Lisa Arnett. My husband and I have just moved to the Huntsville area from Florence, Al. We have 2 sons, two cats, and 1 dog. In my spare time I love to read (of course), refinish furniture, and sew. I have been in education for the past 17 years. I’m so excited to be at Whitesburg Elementary.

Please welcome our new 3rd grade teacher, Ms. Servick! Please welcome our new 3rd grade teacher, Ms. Servick!

Hello! I'm excited to join Whitesburg Elementary!

I'm a Huntsville native with 22 years in education, and teaching has truly been my passion. Over the years, I've had the joy of working with students in grades 2, 4, 5, and 6 as well as serving as an Athletics Operations Coordinator for grades 7-12. Building relationships with students and helping them grow both academically and personally is what I love most about this work.

I'm married to my husband, Danny, and we have two sons who both attend Auburn University, which is also my alma mater. War Eagle!

I'm so grateful for the opportunity to be here and can't wait to get started with our students and families.

We will sell slushies each Friday afternoon.

· $5 for souvenir Whitesburg Elementary Plastic Cup. This cup can be reused each Friday for a $2 refill.

(Slushie Friday's intention is not a fundraiser. It is for student encouragement and celebration. However, we do make a little money off of the sales, and that money goes into WBES's General Budget and is used for student incentives.)

Bullying

Any intentional and repeated act of unwanted aggressive or demeaning behavior involving a real or perceived power imbalance, in which one or more people intentionally and repeatedly cause physical or psychological harm to another person. To be considered bullying, the conduct must also place a student in reasonable fear of harm or of damage to property, have the effect of substantially interfering with educational performance or school operations, or create a hostile, intimidating, threatening, or abusive educational environment.
