The Sunnyvale Education Foundation (SEF) empowers SISD students and teachers by funding innovative teacher grants, enabling educators to inspire learners and ignite curiosity through enriched educational opportunities.
SEF supports an array of creative and impactful projects across campuses:
At SIS, students build hot air balloons in Dr. Stovall’s 5th grade class, integrating science, math, and reading skills through hands-on learning.
SIS also benefits from Dr. Stovall’s Garden Market and garden boxes, funded by SEF grants.
At SHS, SEF has supported the Health Science Technology program with vital signs equipment for Ms. Stanfill’s classes.
SHS’s Robotics team benefits from SEF funding, enabling them to compete at state contests and empowering students in STEM fields.
At SES, Mrs. Dodson’s Book Vending Machine is made possible through SEF’s grant program, supporting literacy and reading engagement.
North Texas Giving Day
North Texas Giving Day is dedicated to generating direct support for SEF. This community fundraising event allows SEF to multiply its impact, helping more students and teachers reach for the sky and excel in academics, STEM, and creativity.
