Shepherd Elementary Weekly Update

This week students have participated in reading buddies, we had kindergarten roundup welcoming our newest BlueJays, and end the week with the Girls Gala! Next week don't forget about St. Patrick's Day on Tuesday. Have a great weekend!

Science Fair Canceled for this Year

Due to limited participation last year and scheduling conflicts, the science fair will not be held this year and we will reconvene next year on the matter. Thank you for your understanding.

We had a blast kicking off this year’s Kids Heart Challenge at Shepherd Elementary School! With help from this year’s Heart Heroes, we’re learning all about keeping our hearts healthy through movement, kindness, rest, and knowing when to ask for help.

Any student that is an independent walker MUST head home after school. Students may not stay after school and play on the snow hills or playground.

For SES Elementary pick-up and drop-off, please follow the blue arrows. Please do not drive south on 4th St. off to Wright Ave, instead use either 2nd or 3rd Street. Both of these streets will lead you to the appropriate location to access the pick-up/drop-off line. We will have staff waiting at the elementary loop to assist students entering and exiting your vehicle. Our top priority is student safety.

PikMyKid Changes

Please DO NOT call the office after 2:15pm for changes to your students pick up mode. All changes needs to be made before this time. Students will be dismissed according to the pickup method listed in PikMyKid.
