🍎🍏 Apple Picking 🍎🍏 Apple Picking

eCampus elementary students went to Jelli’s Market to learn more about apple season in Wisconsin. They learned about the wide variety of apples grown in Wisconsin that can adapt to Wisconsin weather. Together they took a wagon ride out to the orchard, picked apples, and even learned about how the farmers wash and sort the apples for selling.

Learner Profiles
All students have a learner profile. This is housed in their individual google drives. The learner profile is a way to get to know your learner better. This is a time capsule that evolves over the years that your learner is enrolled with eCampus. Please be sure to have the updated slides edited to reflect your learner this year. These are due by November 30th. If you have any questions or if your learner wants to complete it with Mrs. Hail or Mr. Burd, please reach out and we can set up a google meet!

Academic Calendar
eCampus Academy is part of the Watertown Unified School District, so we follow the school district's calendar. You will notice that we have a few NO SCHOOL days during the month of November. That means that no assignments will be due on those days, however if your learner is a virtual learner they will continue to have access to their coursework. Use this time to get caught up or work ahead. Mrs. Hail and Mr. Burd will not be hosting classes on those days. This will be reflected in Google Calendar as well.

Dual Credit Options Dual Credit Options

Start College Now (SCN)

Start College Now provides an opportunity for high school students to earn college credit and high school credit at the same time. High school juniors and seniors are eligible to take classes during the Fall and Spring semesters. Tuition and books are paid by the school district. Contact eCampus for more information as deadlines do apply for each semester and can vary by Technical College.

Credits earned can by applied towards a degree at the Technical College and many other Wisconsin colleges.

Early College Credit Program (ECCP)

The ECCP statute allows Wisconsin public and private high school students to take one or more courses at an institution of higher education for high school and/or college credit. Under this section, “institution of higher education” means an institution within the University of Wisconsin System, a tribally controlled college, or a private, nonprofit institution of higher education located in the state. While technical colleges are not eligible institutions under the new program, pupils that have completed 10th grade will continue to have the option to take courses at technical colleges through a separate statute, 38.12(14).

Students MUST submit their ECCP applications (no exceptions) to their school by:

  • October 1 for spring courses
  • February 1 for summer courses
  • March 1 for fall courses
