Book Fair Coming Soon!

The Scholastic Book Fair will be in the media center from Monday, October 5th, to Friday, October 9th from 7:40-1:30 each day. Be sure to get the free "Book Fairs" app in the App Store! It will let you scan the covers of books to see if it's AR, read a summary, get the reading level, and see recommendations for similar books! You can also use it to create a wish list and order online! It works on our library books, as well!

No trick--but definitely a treat!

All Hallows Read

Twenty-five (25) scary books will be given away to students the week of Halloween to celebrate "All Hallows Read"! More details will be given later!

"Read to the Big Game" Challenge

As you finish your six books, please turn in your reading logs. That way, we can update the scoreboard bulletin board outside the media center. Reading logs are due by Oct. 30! The classes with 100% participation will receive 30 minutes extra recess on Nov. 6!

Monster Week in the Makerspace

The week of September 28 - October 2:

Here will be your options...

Make-A-Monster Contest: Draw your own original monster and include a name and short description of what makes it so spooky. I will have big paper and art supplies for you to use in the makerspace all week. Drawings will be sent to Scholastic to be entered into the contest to (hopefully) win some cool prizes!
