"This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing"
Our fall play opens THIS WEEK! Tickets are on sale now to see this 45 minute story in Beeler Auditorium October 8th - 10th.
For the past few weeks, the cast of “This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing” has been working hard for the making of this celebration of storytelling. From building a house out of sticks, and making three performers a cherry tree, to using performers as fish, and having a slow-motion fight.
All of these things were accomplished through the performers and the director Amie Kisling, as well as many many hours of work. Throughout the process of making this production, there were many thoughts of “In a world where” sticks could be trees and a step stool could be a boat, these materials were turned into abstract demonstrations that helped bring the play to life. The cast of “This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing” is excited to continue to explore the magic of theatre, and to see what this play holds in store for them.
