What would you do at the feet of Jesus?

Our reading from the Gospel of Luke today reminds us that when we show love, there is no room for sin in our hearts or minds. When we focus on and believe in Jesus, any and all sins are abolished by the forgiveness and salvation we can only receive from our Heavenly Father. It can be much easier to dwell on our past choices, good or bad, than to focus on the person Christ is rooting for us to be in the present moment and near future. We let our self-doubt creep in or even sometimes take hold of our hearts and minds, which deprives us of fully receiving His gracious, unconditional love. As Deacon Harold says in today's reflection video,"God's desire is that we be made whole through forgiveness, to experience His life and His peace."

May we reach out to Christ with "sincere repentance and great affection" just as the sinful woman in this passage of scripture did in order to experience the fullness of Our Father's love.
