Join us on Thursday, March 2nd at 6:00 pm in the Library for our monthly PTO meeting. Agenda items include Math/Reading Night recap, Teacher Appreciation Week, End of Year Bash.

Washington's book vending machine was delivered this month. Students can earn tokens for the vending machine and "buy" the book of their choice. A huge thanks to Mrs. Bruck for writing a grant and to the North Platte Public Schools Foundation for funding the grant. We are so excited to get our READ on.

The following students and staff have been chosen as the Players of the Month because they are excellent examples of what is means to be Wildcat. They follow the Washington Way by being respectful, responsible, safe, kind and a positive influence. Congratulations and keep being positive role models.

If you are interested, there are 2 ways you can help us earn money for Washington through Casey's Rewards. First, you can sign yourself up for Casey's Rewards, earning points at the pump or in the store. You can then donate your points to Washington Elementary, which can then be turned into cash. If you don't not want to create your own account, you can enter the school's phone number 308-535-7142, at the pump or in store to earn points on the school account. Please invite grandmas and grandpas, aunts and uncles to help us earn money by simply buying gas or a soda.

Washington Elementary is a Title I School. All teachers and paraprofessionals meet the professional qualifications as required by Federal Law. Parents have the right to request credentials of staff.
