We have had a great first week of school! Teachers are settling into classroom routines and procedures, students are learning to navigate their schedules, their locker combos, lunch time procedures, and everyday routines.

We started our Opening Day with a Pump Up the Pretzel Pride Pep Rally and Parade - the cheerleaders and band led students through the hallways while playing LOYALTY and into our New Pretzel Arena. High School and Junior High cheerleaders led crowd cheers, we introduced the staff, and we also recognized Mrs. Larson for all of her hard work, dedication, and tenacity for leading our district and making a new building a reality for our students, staff, and community. This was her LAST FIRST DAY, as she is retiring at the end of this school year.

I want to give a big Pretzel Shout Out to all of our high school staff as they worked together to make the start of the year the best one we have ever had!

It’s scrimmage week! See you Friday and don’t forget to bring some drinks for entry! Go Pretzels!

Tuesday, August 26th will be the VERY FIRST sporting event in the PRETZEL ARENA!! Wear your ORANGE & BLUE and get out and support our girls as they take on North Greene! Let's fill the gym!!! #PretzelPride

LLCC Career Expo - Sophomore Class -The LLCC Careers Expo will be held Thursday, Sept. 25, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the LLCC main campus in Springfield. The event will feature careers and training in:

• Agriculture
• Workforce Institute
• Health Professions
• First Responders
