Schedule Change Guidelines

We hope you have had a great beginning of the school year so far! Our School Counseling team continues to work hard to finalize student schedules. Our primary goal is to ensure that every student has a balanced, complete, and academically appropriate schedule.

Because our master schedule is created based on student requests from the spring, class capacity, and staffing availability, our ability to accommodate schedule changes is limited. To help us maintain an educational environment optimal for learning, the following is our schedule change policy:

Changes are restricted to academic needs, such as missing a graduation requirement or an incorrect course placement.

We cannot accommodate requests to switch teachers, change lunch periods, or move classes around.

We cannot change course selections to accommodate Parent Dismissal (lockout).

All schedule changes must be submitted within the first 15 days of school.

In order to request a schedule change, a Schedule Change Permission Form must be completed and signed by the parent or guardian. The form is linked here: Schedule Change Permission Form

We appreciate your partnership and understanding in helping us create a successful start to the school year for all of our students.
