Special For Family Fun !
Free Play Friday
This summer, we’re inviting families everywhere to power down and play up — no screens, just imagination, movement, and connection. Whether it’s a backyard adventure, a fort-building mission, or a made-up game that makes zero sense (but is endless fun), let your kids lead the way.
Can your family drop the screens and head outside for just one hour a week? Here's how you can get started:
🌳 Pick a place: A yard, local park, church lawn, or field. Then step back and let the kids take it from there — on their own. (Really, they’ll be fine!)
👪 Start small: Invite a few friends or neighbors to join you as you slowly build your free play community. Let Grow has conversation starters to guide you through.
🎙️ Share your unplugged fun: Let’s show the world what childhood is meant to look like. If you can, snap a pic and tell us your story using #FreePlayFriday.
🙌 Make it a movement: This isn’t just a one-off challenge. Our hope is that Free Play Friday becomes a habit. Check out these resources to help you keep it going all year long.
We’re not just reclaiming one hour a week. We’re helping kids build confidence, courage, and lifelong skills — one muddy (or sunny!), laughter-filled afternoon at a time.
Let’s play!
