This year, to further diversify our fundraising sources, we proudly launched our Annual Business Sponsorship Program. We are grateful to partner with local businesses that are proud supporters of Hyde-Addison, and are committed to the success of our students, staff and early-childhood public education. In its inaugural year, the program has already exceeded expectations. To date, nine business sponsors have contributed a combined $5,500, representing just over 5% of our total fundraising for the 2025-26 school year. This support plays an important role in strengthening our school and helps alleviate fundraising pressures on Hyde-Addison families. We encourage you to learn more about this year’s sponsors and consider supporting the organizations that so generously support our school. School-Day Volunteer Program
We are launching a school-based volunteer program in collaboration with school administration and looking for caregivers who can:
Support recess or lunch supervision
Help re-shelve and organize books in the library
Assist with Lost & Found organization
Requirements:
Current DCPS Volunteer Clearance
Ability to commit to a consistent schedule
Attendance at a short virtual training session with school administration
Most opportunities take 30–60 minutes and you can volunteer as your schedule allows. This is a wonderful way to be present on school grounds mid-week and support teachers and staff in meaningful ways.
Other Ways to Get Involved
Our goal is always to have an active and robust PTA that is representative of our diverse school community. In addition to the School-Day Volunteer Program, we also have one-time and ongoing opportunities through various committees to support our school.

The Executive PTA Board meets monthly. Any member of the Hyde-Addison General Body is welcome to attend. Our meeting dates are published on our website (Events → Calendar) as well as all Meeting Minutes (About → Documents & Records).

Live & Silent Auction Items Needed
Our Live and Silent Auctions are the largest fundraising components of the Gala. Anyone can participate in the auctions—you do not need to attend the event, purchase a ticket, or even be a Hyde-Addison family to bid and support our school.
We are currently seeking auction donations, including:
Vacation home or weekend stays
Experiences or services
Gift certificates
Small and/or local business offerings
Unique or curated items
If you own a business or know someone who might be willing to donate an item or experience, we would love your help. We find it easiest to ask the businesses that your family supports regularly for auction donations, and we’re looking for volunteers who are interested in assisting the Gala Committee with outreach to local businesses. Please email pta.hydeaddison@gmail.com if you’re interested and we’ll send you a copy of this year’s solicitation letter.
Every donated item helps expand our auction offerings and directly strengthens our fundraising success. Your connections, ideas, and support truly make a difference.
Gala Sponsorship Opportunities
In addition to auction donations, we are also seeking Gala Sponsors to help make this event a success. Sponsorships are available at a variety of price points, and each one supports key elements of the evening—such as the dance floor, bar, desserts, band, and more—while helping us maximize our fundraising impact.
