Board Brief

The North Little Rock Board of Education approved the purchase of tutoring services through a partnership with Kids First to third graders in danger of being retained. This program supports students qualifying for a good cause exemption, such as English Language learners, previously retained students, or an isolated traumatic event right before or during the testing window. Following the tutoring, students will be retested specifically to determine their eligibility for promotion to the fourth grade.

Dr. LeAnn Stoll, Assistant Superintendent of Network Support Services, and Ms. Tiffany Randall, Coordinator of Student-Centered Support Services, presented on the updates made in the 2026-2027 NLRSD Parent-Student Handbook.

Chief of Staff Scott Stanger, along with representatives from Taggart Architects and Nabholz Construction, provided an update to the Board of Education and the community about the progress of the middle school campus, which is currently under construction.

Special Board Meeting/Board Workshop

All meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. and are held in the Boardroom in the Administration Building, located at 2400 Willow Street. They are open to the public.
