How far have you come...
The final lap is always the least crowded. Why? Because most people check out mentally before they cross the finish line physically. The difference between an average year and a defining year is what you do in these final few weeks. This is the time to lock in, narrow your focus, and honor the effort you’ve put in since day one. As the saying goes...
"You didn’t come this far only to come this far."

Message for the Week:
Message from Mr. Tejkl
Keep going...
Good morning!
What a weekend! It was amazing to be part of our Prom Dance and seeing the students having a great time. There is a long list of individuals who make this possible but thank you to our Junior Class Sponsor: Stacy Stewart and the Juniors for the decorations this year! I thought it looked great. Subtle but stood out but most importantly, I thought it put the students in the spot light which was great to see. Thank you to all of our parents who made Post-Prom possible as well of those who took the time to drive either buses or vans to get our students to where they needed to be. Long night/early morning but from what I have heard, nothing but awesomeness. Lastly, thank you to those who participated or helped with Sunday's Daddy/Daughter dance. The only thing I heard was that if we could have some big screens with the Master's on, that would have been great ;)
We’ve officially hit that stretch of the year where the finish line is visible, but the tank is starting to feel empty. It’s tempting to start coasting into the summer mindset, but before you let your foot off the gas, look back at the version of you from six months ago. You’ve already done the heavy lifting and climbed the steepest part of the mountain; tripping on the flat ground of the finish line just isn't an option. We didn’t come this far just to come this far.
To our students: This final sprint is a test of character more than a test of academics. Locking in right now means protecting the investment you’ve made in yourself all year. It’s about closing the extra tabs, silencing the distractions, and deciding that you aren't just going to finish—you’re going to finish with a version of yourself you actually respect and will be proud of. Don’t just count the days; make the days count.
To our patrons and community: It takes a village and this is another example of us still coming together. Your role is vital in helping our students maintain their momentum when the burnout feels heaviest. Whether it’s providing a quiet space for study, offering a word of encouragement when the stress peaks, or simply reminding them of how much ground they’ve already covered. Your support is the fuel that gets them across the line. Let’s work together to ensure every student finishes this year with the pride and momentum they deserve.
Have a great rest of your week!
Sincerely,
Tucker Tejkl
