Parent SMORE

Howdy,

Thank you so much for all of the parent participation at our "Meet the Teacher."

I hope you found the night as enjoyable as we did. It was nice seeing and meeting soooo many of you. It was nice seeing so much community support for an event, and Kona Ice is always a good treat (especially in this summer heat).

Take care, and have a great day.

FFA

Our FFA recently participated in the "Tips for Tots" Fish Fry.

I am so proud of our FFA Chapter for participating in the fundraiser. Teaching the importance of selflessness is highly important to our future. Thank you to all of our kiddos that participated in this event.

All students in YISD qualify for free lunch and breakfast. Please encourage your kiddo to take advantage of this opportunity.

New Vape Law

A new law passed over the summer regarding Vapes. The new law states that any student caught with a vape device with or within 300 feet of a school or school event must be placed in DAEP.
