The baseball and softball teams will be selling Dragon Gear for the upcoming season. Below is a link to the order form.

Coach Pense and Coach Gregory will be set up at the Sr. High District Tournament February 14 - 18 to take orders. The tournament is being hosted at Mountainburg High School this year.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be Monday, February 21, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Ten seniors were recognized on Tuesday, February 8. Many have played together since little league basketball. Thank you seniors and good luck in your chose endeavors beyond high school.

During the game against Acorn on Tuesday, February 8, senior Lady Dragon, Haley Reed scored her 1000th point in her high school career.

Coach Dean presented her with a commemorative basketball of this milestone during the Senior Night Ceremony. The basketball was designed by MHS Art teacher, Cora Boland.

Congratulations Haley!

Honesty: Truth is what is real. Telling the truth no matter what the consequences.

Honesty is being truthful in what you say and do.

Being Truthful means saying how something really is or how it really happened.

• telling the truth based on what actually happened, based on facts and real things (not lying)

• telling the whole truth, and not leaving out parts in order to hide something you know is wrong (lies of omission)

• acting in a way that is truthful and doesn’t hide the truth or trick others (not deceiving)

The spring semester is a very busy time for students at MHS. Seniors are gearing up to receive their diploma in May!

All year, seniors have received emails about scholarships. These have also been posted in the Class of 2022 Google Classroom that Mrs. Daniel has set up.

SENIORS AND PARENTS:

• If your senior receives confirmation that he/she is awarded a scholarship, please make a copy of that letter and have it dropped off to Mrs. Daniel.

Please contact her if you have any questions regarding your student's transcript, registering for the ACT, and scholarships.

January and February virtual workshops are available through College Access Initiative plus an updated Resource page.

Also, the application for summer ACT and Jumpstart are now available.
