Principal's Weekly Update #28

Dear Wales Families,

Happy Friday, families! As we head into the weekend, I want to share how excited we are for next week: it’s Staff Appreciation Week! From the classroom teachers who ignite a love for learning to our dedicated support staff who keep our kiddos safe and happy, these individuals are truly the heart of our school. If you have a moment, I invite you to join us in showering them with a little extra gratitude next week—you will receive an email today, Monday and Tuesday with a simple way to show your gratitude. Your kindness means the world to our team and reminds us why we love being part of this wonderful community.

The weather made doing our last fire drill impossible. We are planning to do the last one next week- weather dependent.

***Important update from the PTO. The May meeting date has been changed to May 14th 6pm at Wales Primary School.***

The PTO plant/flower sale pickup is May 8th 3-6pm out front of the school or in the shelter by the playground (depending on the weather).

This is a reminder that when your child is absent or tardy, legally we must have a note with a reason, upon the child's return to school. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
