Presuming Competence for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities
It’s important for everyone to learn and grow. When supporting students with significant cognitive disabilities, it’s all about presuming competence and finding the most appropriate supports to provide connection and access. Research suggests when given appropriate supports, the significance of a student’s cognitive disability is lessened. Take the TX CAN course Presuming Competence to learn more about the research and how you can broaden the horizon for your students.
