Dear Parents,
We are excited to celebrate Thanksgiving with our school families! Sign up for our Thanksgiving Pie Drive and receive a delicious pie delivered directly to your home by our staff. This is a small way for us to show appreciation and share some holiday cheer with our students and their families.

We are going to have this Pie Home Visit Drive on Saturday, November 21st (between 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM) & Tuesday, November 16-17th (between 4:00 pm to 5:30 PM). Our visit takes about 20 minutes. The teachers will be coming to your house with pie to talk about the school activities and students' progress.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable volunteer coach to support our middle school student-athletes. The ideal candidate will encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and personal growth while helping students develop their athletic skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with practices and games
• Motivating and supervising student-athletes
• Promoting teamwork and positive behavior
• Following all school safety rules and athletic guidelines

Previous coaching experience is helpful but not required. Volunteers must complete all required district screening and background-check procedures.

School begins promptly at 7:40 AM, and the doors will close at 7:35 AM. Students arriving after the doors close will be considered late. Parents/guardians must park their vehicle and sign their child in at the front office.

Dress Code Reminder:
The school dress code will be strictly enforced. Please make sure your child arrives in the proper Harmony school uniform each day.

• Harmony uniform shirts must be tucked in at all times.
• Slacks must be black, khaki, or navy blue.
• All students must wear a belt at all times.

ESL CORNER

Drop Off Traffic Procedures

• MS/HS

• At 7:00 am traffic will enter the parking lot from the Woodward Entrance.

• They will drive counterclockwise staying to the right as they travel through the drop off and pick up area.

• As they round the back side of the gym, they will drop off their student at the gym entrance.

• MS students will wait in the courtyard. HS Students will be in the gym.

• Parents will then drive straight forward and exit onto St. Elmo and turn right.

• HSI

• HSI Parents will enter from the St. Elmo.

• They will drive straight forward and turn right into the HSI drop off point.

• They will then exit by driving in our N. parking lot and exit onto Woodward by turning right.

• Dual School

• Parents that have children attending both schools will utilize the procedures from HSI.

• MS/HS students will then walk along HSI’s sidewalk and cross to the MS/HS side utilizing the crosswalk.

• They will then enter the courtyard or gym.

  
  

  Pick Up Traffic Procedures

  • Traffic will enter the parking lot from the Woodward Entrance.

  • They will give the crosswalk duty the name/student # of the child they are picking up.

  • The crosswalk attendant will enter the number into the radio so the announcement can be made for the student to make their way to the gym or courtyard door for pick up .

  • They will continue to drive counterclockwise staying to the right as they travel through the pickup area.

  • Parents will then drive straight forward and exit onto St. Elmo and turn right.

  • If students are taking a while parents will park and wait until students arrive.

  HSI

  • HSI Parents will enter from the St. Elmo.
  • They will drive straight forward and turn right into the HSI pick up point.
  • They will pick up their students at the pickup point.
  • They will then exit by driving in our N. parking lot and exit onto Woodward by turning right.

  Dual School

  • Parents that have children attending both schools will utilize the procedures from HSI.
  • MS/HS students will walk out the walker door in the gym to HSI and pick up their siblings by walking across the crosswalk and along the sidewalk to the pickup point at HSI

  
  

  Car Line Rules

  1. No left turns throughout the carline system.

  2. Parents will need to remain in their cars at all times.

  3. Parking in the driveway/ carline at any time is strictly prohibited.

  4. No honking.

  5. Cell Phone usage in a school zone is prohibited- Texas State Law.

  6. Do not walk through the carline at any time.

  7. Be ready to follow the dismissal team’s directions.

  8. Provide student names to dismissal teacher

  9. Be respectful and appropriate language will be used at all times.

  10. Students should be ready to exit the vehicle on the building side in the morning without delay.

  Once doors are closed at 7:35 AM, this means you are late. You MUST park and sign your student in or sign your student out.

  Starts at 3:21 pm Monday - Thursday and 1:15 pm on Fridays

  
  

  
  

If you are driving and parking on campus, you need to have a student parking pass.

The way to get a parking pass is by bringing $25 receipt of the fee, your driver's license, car insurance, and your drivers license plate number to the front office. Mr. Dagci will direct you to the student parking section.

If you do not have a parking pass, you will be towed. We don’t want to tow your car so please make sure you bring all information to the front. For more information please email: ldagci@harmonytx.org
