TMHS Wildcat Choir
November 3-8
Bella Voce Kemah Contest
On Thursday this week, Bella Voce will be traveling to Kemah Boardwalk to compete in the Kemah Days Choir Competition. This includes all eligible members of Bella Voce. Students will be on a field trip leaver at 8:06am and will leave their first period class at this time to head to the choir room (we are on an extended 1st period bell schedule). We will sing at 2:40pm and will leave after we sing in the hopes to beat some of the evening traffic. We should arrive back to TMHS around 4:30pm.
Students will be given an all-day ride pass if they chose to get one, but are responsible for paying for their own food. We will make a stop on the way, and there are also plenty of food choices at the park depending on how much they wish to spend.
Students will need to bring their Renaissance dresses with them, and will wear their choir t-shirt around the park before performing. Students may wear shorts that are school appropriate. This field trip does not count against exemptions.
Chorale Senior Recognition Night!
This Friday, our Chorale seniors will be recognized at the football game, so please read the important information below. It's also 8th Grade Choir Night and our brothers and sisters from GLJH and WWJH will be singing the National Anthem with us! A lot of cool things taking place on this LAST home game of the year!
The order is Band and Color Guard, followed by the Trainers, Football, Silver Stars, Cheer, Navy Empire, Choir, and JROTC. We will meet by the jumbotron on the South side of the Stadium at 5:45 PM so that we can get everyone lined up and ready to go. We will enter the field through the band ramp, and get in line. Each student and family will stop on the 50-yard line for pictures.
Please complete the google form below to let us know who will be walking at the senior recognition.
Parents and Family do not have to have a ticket to participate in the recognition, but do need a ticket if you plan on staying for the game.
Region Weekend
Region Weekend is coming up in two weeks! All students who have made the Region Mixed or Region Treble, and those who were selected for Honor Choir will be traveling with us for the Region Clinics and Concerts on November 14th and 15th. We will leave after school on Friday, November 14th to head to Lake Creek High School and will return back to TMHS by about 9:15pm. A bus will be provided to and from Lake Creek.
On Saturday, November 15th, students will need to meet at TMHS by 7:15am and bring their formal choir uniforms for the evening's concerts. There will be a bus provided TO Lake Creek, but NOT back to TMHS. Students are expected to be picked up at Lake Creek HS following the concerts.
Each day, students should bring a black binder, water bottle, pencil, and be dressed comfortably and in dress code for rehearsals. All students participating will wear their TMHS Choir t-shirt on Saturday during the day and will bring their formal choir uniform for the concert.
We will be sending out more information this week as schedules are finalized.
Good luck to the RBB as they head off to compete at STATE Marching!
Spring Trip - NYC Payment Link
Please know that with online payments with CheddarUP there is a service charge. If you wish to send in a check or cash instead in order to avoid the service charge you are welcome to do so. Checks can be made out to TMCBC.
World Finest Chocolate Fundraiser
We are continuing to distribute chocolate boxes for our World's Finest Chocolate Fundraiser! However, many of your students took a box or two to begin selling and we ask that you please ensure they are selling the candy bars. They are only a dollar! When students finish selling the entire box of chocolate, they should return the envelope with their name on it and the money included to one of the choir directors. Student scholarship points earned by selling chocolate/doing flags will be available to see in Presto, and these points can be used towards things like Spring trip payments, voice lessons, solo and ensemble accompanist fees, class fees, and more!
An email was send this week for students who checked out chocolate and have not returned any of the fundraising money.
Senior College Acceptance Form
Several seniors are already getting accepted into their various university of choice, so seniors, as you begin your journey of college admissions, please fill out the google form below to let us know where you have been accepted!!!
WiddyUP
In the next few weeks we will begin our Choir WiddyUp fundraiser! This is a fundraiser where a thank you video of your student's choir class singing one of our holiday songs is sent once a donation is received. All students will participate and we will send home contact information sheets to be completed by families with names and emails/numbers of family and friends that you think would have high potential of making a donation to the TMHS Choir Program.

Choir Students of the Week
Each week, the directors will choose one student that has stood out and represented some of our campus core values.
This week's Student of the Week is all students who auditioned for Pop Show this week! You showed bravery and confidence while singing and auditioning in front of your peers, and for that we are so proud of you! This was the highest amount of auditionees we have had, and we love seeing so many of you stepping up and putting yourself out there to audition. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
