Hawk News5/15/2026Hendrickson High School

Message from Principal Grebb:

If you thought this year would fly by, here we are at the finish line. It’s time to begin celebrating the Class of 2026! These students have worked incredibly hard over the past four years, and they deserve to be recognized for all they have accomplished. I hope everyone will attend their elementary school graduation walk on Monday to celebrate this special milestone.

For students in grades 9–11, next week will be focused on final exams, so continue finishing strong and putting yourself in the best possible position for success. We have a busy week ahead as we close out the school year, so make it a priority to be here every day.

Summer School Summer School

Students currently enrolled in high school or students who will enter high school during the 2026-27 school year are invited to participate in High School Summer School to earn credits that will meet high school graduation requirements.

Students interested in High School Summer Program must meet with their school counselor to ensure proper registration for identified & necessary courses.

Credit Recovery:

Credit Recovery courses are for students who have previously taken a course on campus but failed to earn credit. These courses use an online, self-paced curriculum that does not allow for modification of content or instructional delivery during Summer School. These factors should be carefully considered before enrollment if a student requires content modifications and/or instructional accommodations. Summer school only provides the capacity for students to complete 2 half credits in 3 weeks.

  • In-person Half Day Program

    • Monday-Thursday, June 1-18, 2026

    • Classes begin at 8:30 AM each day

    • Classes dismiss at 12:30 PM each day

  • Credit recovery coursework may be completed throughout the June 1 -18 time period; course exams will only be administered in person during regularly scheduled summer school.

  • Breakfast and lunch are provided.

  • Bus routes are available.

  • Students attend at one centralized location:

Pflugerville High School

1301 W Pecan St.

Pflugerville, TX 78660

Principal: Jeremy Watson

jeremy.raymondwatson@pfisd.net

  • Cost is $100 flat fee

    • Registration fees are reduced for students who participate in the free/reduced meal program.

First Time Credit:.

First time credit is for students who have never taken the course and wish to accelerate. Students may enroll in these courses ONLY with counselor approval and not be currently behind in credits. These accelerated courses are delivered online with a teacher-directed curriculum.

  • On-line with optional Half Day In-person

    • Monday-Thursday, June 1 - 18, 2026

    • Classes begin at 8:30 AM each day
