Happy June Cook Hill Families,

As we enter the final month of the school year, it is hard to believe that the last day of school is quickly approaching on June 18th. This school year has been filled with so much learning, growth, laughter, and connection, and we are incredibly excited to celebrate these final weeks with our students and families.

With only 10 school days remaining, we want to emphasize the importance of students attending school every day and arriving on time. These final days are filled with important academic experiences, opportunities for reflection, and special celebrations that help bring closure to a successful school year. Being present each day helps set students up for success as they prepare for the transition into next year.

Over the past month, we have had so many wonderful experiences at Cook Hill. Our Field Day was a tremendous success, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the families and volunteers who helped make the day so memorable. Events like Field Day are only possible because of the support, energy, and partnership of our Cook Hill community. We are so grateful for each and every one of you!

We have also been fortunate to welcome several amazing visitors to our school in recent weeks. Our Preschool 3 classrooms enjoyed a special music program for both AM and PM students. Additionally, our students participated in a wonderful storytelling experience featuring stories from around the world and learned about West African dance through an engaging and interactive cultural arts assembly. These opportunities help broaden our students' understanding of the world while creating joyful learning experiences.

Earlier this week, we hosted our Kindergarten Orientation, and it was wonderful to welcome both new and returning families to Cook Hill. We are excited to meet our newest students and officially welcome them into our school community this fall.

As we move through the final weeks of the year, many classrooms will be hosting end-of-year celebrations. These special events provide students with opportunities to reflect on their accomplishments, celebrate friendships, and enjoy time with their classmates and teachers as the school year comes to a close.

We would also like to thank everyone who completed our End-of-Year School Climate Surveys. Your feedback is invaluable and will help guide our continued growth and improvement efforts as we work to make Cook Hill the very best place for students, staff, and families.

With gratitude and collaboration,

Student Celebrations and Happenings Student Celebrations and Happenings

As part of our continued efforts to celebrate and recognize our amazing students, families, and staff we would like to invite families to complete our Student Celebrations and Happenings form!

The form will be open throughout the entire school year. Anytime your family or child celebrate or do something interesting, add a new submission!

Not only will we celebrate our school community together during our Morning Announcements, but (with the families permission) we will regularly share one of the submissions with our entire school community!

We cannot wait to see what our students, staff, and families are up to when they are being the change they want to see in the world and living their best lives!
