Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday (February 18) is almost here, and we’re looking forward to beginning Lent with your family. Ashes will be distributed at each service/Mass.

• SERVICE: 6:00 AM AND 5:00 PM
• MASS: 9:00 AM + NOON + 7:00 PM

A simple way to make Lent meaningful at home: choose one family Lenten “promise” together—something you can actually keep:

• Pray: one decade of the Rosary, a Psalm, or a short bedtime prayer

• Fast: one small sacrifice (screens, sweets, complaining, etc.)

• Give: one act of kindness or service each day

Let Ash Wednesday be a fresh start:

“Lord, renew my heart and help me follow You.”

We invite you to pray the Stations of the Cross every Friday in Lent from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

We are also looking for families to participate by assisting with a simple part of the service (e.g., carrying the cross).

If your family would like to be involved, please email me to learn more and to sign up.

• Soup Supper – Friday, 2/27 at 5:00 PM (please bring a soup to share)

• Pasta Night – Friday, March 13 at 5:00 PM (please bring a pasta dish to share)

• Meatless Potluck – Friday, March 27 at 5:00 PM (please bring a meatless dish to share)

If you can volunteer to help set up, serve, or clean up for any of these evenings, please email me—many hands make light work.
