Bus Lane Reminder
When dropping off & picking up, please remember to leave the south end of the bus lane clear. Buses need to be able to come & go efficiently in this area. We encourage parents to use the north end of the bus lane when waiting in their car for their students.
Missing Something?
Be sure to check the lost & found located in the lunch room!
Lunch Reminder
Fast food is not allowed to be brought in for school lunch. Parents are welcome to come & eat with their child, but only school lunch or traditional cold lunches should be consumed during lunch. We appreciate your assistance with this district guideline.
Come Visit Us!
To make checking in go smoothly, please remember to bring your drivers license with you to efficiently negotiate our visitor check-in system.
We're having a Talent Show!
2nd - 5th graders are welcome to try out for this years talent show!
See details for more information!
Please Return School Clothes
Accidents happen & sometimes our students need a change of clothes! If your child comes home in different clothes than what they went to school in, please wash & return them as soon as possible so we have enough extras on hand for others. Thank you!
Reminders from the Health Office
Any medication remaining at school must be picked up by a parent or guardian by May 23 or it will be discarded.
In order to have everything in place for the beginning of next year, Nurse Jordan will be sending out the "Medication Administration Form" that needs to be filled out & signed by both your child's physician & parent/guardian.
A new form must be completed each school year.
Reminder : Any current 5th graders will be due for updated immunizations prior to their 6th grade year.

HAPPY NATIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE PROFESSIONAL'S MONTH!
Laura Wilder is beyond blessed to have two of the very best! THANK YOU, Ev, Karen & Jo Dolly (IEP Facilitator - not pictured) for all that you do for our staff, students & families every day!
Everybody Reads was a HUGE success again this year!
As a school, we set 3 goals & our students absolutely CRUSHED every one of them!! Our highest goal was to read 15,000 books; this would earn the students a pajama day, popcorn party & a special assembly, to see teachers getting water dumped on their heads! The students were in awe when they came to library & saw all of the raindrops covering the walls! It was so fun to see how eager the students were to read each day & fill out a raindrop when they finished a book!
They were so proud to see their hard work displayed in the school!
At the end of just three weeks, we read 20,295 books!!
It's School Library Month!
Meet the faces behind the Laura Wilder Library!
Happy National Occupational Therapist Month to our very own!
