On Monday, October 13th, Ms. Erickson and Mrs. Nolt's 3rd grade classes learned about the "13 Moons on Old Turtle's Back" legend for Indigenous Peoples Day. Students learned about how Native Americans tracked the moon phases and changing seasons. We then made our own version!

First grade students in art class learned what a sculpture was. They had to figure out how to make paper be three dimensional and turn paper into a sculpture!

Thank you to all of our community, parents, staff and students for a great turnout at Family Reading Night on Monday! There was fun had by all. A special thank you to Tom Wenner from Horace Mann for the donation of bikes. We appreciate your support!

Fourth grade students enjoyed a trip to Target Field to learn about the math of baseball.

Mrs. Mantel's Class had a great time on the second grade field trip to Lendt's Pumpkin Patch!
