Greetings, Cardinals!

Winter break is almost here, and we have a fun winter celebration planned for Friday. Students, please keep a lookout for more information from Student Council. We will also have an assembly schedule on Friday. With most secondary schools running different schedules due to celebration plans, we will not have East/West shuttle buses on 12/19. We will have the LMC open for traveling students as a study space as needed. On behalf of the entire East staff, we would like to wish all our students and families a safe and happy winter break. The Cardinal Call will be back the week of January 4th in the new year.

Sincerely,

Jim Ertel

Principal

Request Fest is Coming

On December 19 the 2026/2027 course guide will become available to students and families. This will be the kick off to “Request Fest” as we start the scheduling season. Please be on the lookout for more information as we enter this exciting time of year.

Course Expo

The 2025/2026 Course Expo will be held on January 13 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. This event is a great time to meet with teachers and staff about what classes we offer. Staff will be available to answer questions and chat with families about questions they may have on our offerings.

AP (Advanced Placement) night will be held in conjunction with the course expo. You will be able to hear what Advanced Classes are, the workload, expectations, and different AP classes available.

Please Lock Your Vehicles

Students, please make sure you are locking your vehicles when in school. Locking your cars is important to make sure no one is entering your vehicle without your permission or knowledge.

Pods

Starting in December we are asking both students and staff members to refrain from having food and beverages in the pod spaces. If you would like to enjoy a drink or snack, you are welcome to do so in classrooms or the commons (per your classroom teacher's expectations). Thank you!
