WELCOME BACK

As we settle into the rhythm of another school half-term, I find myself reflecting on the wonderful journey we've embarked upon together. The autumn leaves may be falling, but our spirits are certainly rising with the wealth of experiences and achievements our pupils have been enjoying.

I trust that everyone had a relaxing October half-term, a much-needed breather in the midst of our busy academic calendar. It's heartening to see our pupils return to school with renewed energy, eager to reconnect with their friends and dive back into their studies. The bonds of friendship formed in these formative years are truly special, and it's a joy to witness the camaraderie in our playgrounds and classrooms.

I'm immensely proud to report that everyone is working exceptionally hard in school. The dedication of our pupils and staff is evident in every corner of our federation. We're seeing lots of learning and improvement everywhere, which is a testament to the commitment and enthusiasm of our entire school community.

CHRISTIAN VALUE OF THIS HALF-TERM

This term, the focus of collective worship and wider school activities is on 'Respect.'

NEW LEARNING

Our curriculum continues to challenge and inspire. We've recently embarked on some exciting new units of study. Our pupils are delving into the rich history and vibrant present of London, exploring the fascinating world of trains, and investigating the pivotal Battle of Britain. These topics are sparking curiosity and fostering a deeper understanding of our world and its history and geography.

I'm continually impressed by the resilience, creativity, and sheer determination displayed by our pupils. They truly embody the vision of, 'Learning and Growing in the Love of God' that we live towards in school.

LISTENING TO YOU

We'd like to bring your attention to an exciting opportunity within our school community. We are currently seeking parents or carers who might be interested in becoming a school governor.

This role is instrumental in shaping the direction of our school and ensuring that we continue to provide the best possible education for our pupils. Governors play a crucial part in holding school leaders to account and contributing to the strategic vision of our federation.

If you feel you could contribute to this important work, please don't hesitate to contact the school office for more information.

THANKS

As always, I'm filled with optimism about what we can achieve together. The partnership between home and school is the bedrock of our pupils' success, and I'm grateful for your continued support and engagement. Thank you to everyone who donated goods for the local food bank.
