7th Grade Weekly News, September 8
From the desk of Chris Howell, Assistant Principal
Dear Parents and Students,
I hope everyone had a fantastic Labor Day weekend. This week teachers and some students have been preparing for our implementation of our new E-hallpass system that is going live on Monday, September 11. This system will replace the current paper version of hallpasses with a digital program that will allow us to safely be sure that every student in the building is accounted for.
Below are some great books that capture the patriotism and courage that occured on and after September 11th. Mrs. Smith, our Media Specialist, put together a collection of books that helps our students understand the event. She has included the names of the books, as well as a quick summary as to what they are all about. We will never forget. Please encourage your child to take a look in the Media Center if they have an interest in learning more about this day.
Thanks everyone. Have a wonderful week.
