2026-27 School Year
Liberty Middle School
11/5/26
Good morning, Blue Jays!
I hope everyone is having a great week!
Our 7th grade field trips to the Truman Library start today. Students must bring back a signed permission slip to attend.
Just a reminder, on Tuesday, November 10th LMS will be showing a short age appropriate video clip followed by a review of the warning signs and symptoms of depression and suicide and what to do if they are concerned about themselves or a friend. The video clip and survey will be administered during their advisory classes. Following this presentation students will be asked to complete a brief google survey which will ask whether they would like to talk to an adult about any concerns. The results of this survey will go directly to our counseling and social work department to follow up with any students requesting assistance. After reaching out to these students, parents/guardians will be contacted.
If you wish to have your student OPT OUT of this activity please fill out this our parent opt-out. You can also call Mrs. Quarles, our school social worker, at 816-736-5421 or send an email to becca.quarles@lps53.org.
Be sure to keep scrolling for more information about all of the exciting activities and events coming up at LMS.
Thank you,
Dr. Jeremy Bradham
Principal-LMS
