St Elizabeth's News
NEWSLETTER | TERM 1 | WEEK 7 | 19 MARCH 2026
Good afternoon parents and caregivers,
Happy St. Patrickβs Day for Tuesday! To all our families with Irish heritage, including my own, I hope you had a wonderful day filled with joy, celebration and cheer.
Wednesday marked World Social Worker Day, a special opportunity for us to pause and recognise the incredible work of our social work team, Miss Chloe Grant and Freddie! The care, compassion and dedication they have make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students each and every day. Whether they are supporting students through challenges, building positive relationships or simply being a calm and reassuring presence, their impact is truly valued.
This week, we celebrated Harmony Week with a range of engaging activities across our classrooms. A sincere thank you to our staff and students for embracing the occasion by wearing traditional clothing or a touch of orange, recognising and celebrating the rich cultural diversity of our St Elizabethβs community. Today, our Year Two students led what was truly one of the most memorable Harmony Day assemblies I have witnessed! It is such a privilege to be part of a multicultural community that proudly celebrates and values its heritage.
As a staff we have reviewed our Parent Communication Procedure, βWorking in Partnership: How We Communicate with Familiesβ. Please find below the new document for you to read. If you have any queries, please reach out to either myself or my Assistant Principals.
Finally, well done to our fabulous Year Three and Five students on completing NAPLAN for 2026! They were all truly superstars!
Enjoy a wonderful weekend.
God bless
Rebecca Clarke

Term 2 Parent Planner
Dear Families and Caregivers,
It has been a busy and productive few weeks across the school, with many important events taking place.
A reminder for families of students preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation that attendance at a Commitment Mass is required. Please refer to the communication from Mrs Curtis for further details regarding dates and expectations.
Thank you to Ms Taylor for leading our Year 1 and Year 2 liturgy. It was wonderful to see such a strong turnout of parents and families. Opportunities like these continue to strengthen the connection between our school and parish community.
Parent-Teacher Interviews will be held in Week 9 on Tuesday 31st March and Wednesday 1st April. These meetings provide a valuable opportunity to discuss your childβs progress and start to the year. The booking link will open at 8:45am tomorrow morning (Friday 20/3) and can be accessed via the newsletter. An email has also been sent to all families from Pre-Primary to Year 6 with further details.
Next week, we will be launching our first Wellness Wednesday. We encourage families to support this initiative by using active transport where possibleβwalking, riding, or scootering to school. Itβs a great way to promote healthy habits and start the day positively.
Thank you for your continued support.
God bless
