CPTO Volunteers Make a Difference at St. Patrick School!

The CPTO is an important part of St. Patrick Catholic School. This dedicated group helps plan fun events for our students and takes wonderful care of our staff throughout the year. Their efforts make a big difference in building community and supporting our school’s mission.

I want to thank everyone who has already signed up to volunteer or donated to help our CPTO be successful, your generosity and time are truly appreciated!

The CPTO still has many opportunities for parents to get involved. We are looking for additional committee chairs and volunteers to help in various areas. We understand that busy schedules can make it difficult to volunteer in person. If that’s the case, please consider supporting the CPTO through a donation. Remember every contribution helps us continue to provide great experiences for our students and staff.

Together, we can continue to make this a fantastic school year at St. Patrick School!

Parents should have received an email with information on how to sign up for our student led parent-teacher conferences later this month. If you did not receive an email with this information, please contact the school office.

To keep everyone informed of unexpected changes in the school schedule due to weather, or other important announcements, we use the Remind alert notification system. In addition to this, we send out an email from the school and post the information on our social media pages. For changes due to weather, we also inform KWWL.

Our weather policy is posted as “Weather Announcements” under the Quick Links on the home page of the school website.

Through the Remind alert notification system, parents can sign up for text alerts, push notifications (when you download the Remind app), or emails.

If you are new to St Patrick School, or have not signed up in the past, text @cd4he to 81010. If you're having trouble with 81010, text @cd4he to (619) 450-1267. For emails only, go to rmd.at/cd4he on a computer to sign up for email notifications. You do not need to sign up again if you have signed up before.

**We will send a test notification Thursday, Oct. 23, at 11:30 AM. If you do not get our test alert, please double check your information on the Remind website/app. We cannot access your account information**

Our billing office has requested that if you have outstanding bills for tuition, Circle of Care, or lunch balances that you contact us to make payment or send in your check payment with your student.

If you would like to pay online, you can use our new online payment portal EzSchoolpay. Your student ID number for getting set up is located at the top of your invoice.

We’re brewing up the best Trunk-or-Treat ever this year! A big Thank You to our event coordinators, Cali Solsma and Micaela Rahm!

This year's Trunk or Treat will be after 5:00 Mass on Saturday, October 25th. There will be a hot dog dinner from 6:00-6:30 p.m. with trick or treating to commence from 6:30-7:30 p.m. To donate items for this event, please check out our SignUp Genius form online.

Hi, my name is Becca and I am working with the local girl scouts counsel to start a troop here at St. Patrick's. We have some girls signed up already, but if we are unable to find another adult volunteer we will be unable to continue with the troop.

Please consider joining us at our first meeting for further information! Right now meetings are Thursdays shortly after school, but if you interested in helping out we can always try to find a different day of the week or time which works better. If you are interested but can't make the first meeting, you can reach me at rkonicek9@gmail.com. Thank you!

This year’s theme: “Life Is A Puzzle, Solve It Drug Free™.”

We will have an out of uniform day for Red Ribbon Week on Monday, October 27th. Students are allowed to wear a red shirt or sweatshirt with uniform bottoms. (No hoodies or sleeveless shirts permitted).

CPTO is once again be promoting our annual Ninja/U night on November 7th, from 6-8:00 p.m. This is open to students in grades 3rd-8th.

All students attending will need to have a parental signed waiver on file with Ninja/U before they will be permitted to attend. Cost is $10 per child. Snacks and drinks are available to purchase from Ninja/U. More information on getting signed up will be shared soon!

Additional supervision will not be provided outside of the Ninja/U staff, so please plan parental supervision accordingly.

Check out our apparel store with Iowa Sport Supply to help with school approved uniform needs. All orders are placed directly through Iowa Sport Supply and take 3-4 weeks to be ready for pick up.

As a reminder, students are allowed to wear shorts and skirts without tights or leggings until Oct.30th. When we return to school on Nov. 3rd all students will need uniform approved pants, skirts/jumpers with leggings or tights underneath. As a rule, leggings alone are not considered uniform bottoms. Please look over our dress code as we change seasons and prepare for cooler months ahead.

Due to parent teacher conferences, we will not have school on Friday, October 31st. This means there will be no school, preschool, daycare or Circle of Care available. Enjoy your long Halloween weekend!

We are now utilizing a new online bill pay system. EZSchoolPay can be used to pay your lunch balances, Circle of Care fees, preschool fees, etc. You should have received a separate email earlier in September with instructions on getting your account setup to pay your fees online. This system is used as a family account, therefore you only need the information for one student per family when registering, and payments need to be made for one family member to be shared with siblings. Multiple lunch and Circle of Care payments are not necessary, as these are family accounts.

October invoices have the website and student number necessary for creating an account.

We will no longer utilize Revtrak. If you have their site bookmarked, please update to the EZSchoolPay site.
