Graphic Design work pouring out!!
CapeCodCan Collab with the NECC Program!
All of our students require different levels of support and Barbara is able to adapt her lesson to whatever our students may need that day. Some of our students are able to sit at the table and follow along with the group, while others do the lesson in their own space. Whatever it may be Barbara is always willing to help and adapt as needed. Overall, it is a great opportunity for our students to make connections within their community and practice essential life skills all while having fun and leaving with a lovely art piece!
BHS ART ALUMNI MEGA SPOTLIGHT!!!
We LOVE hearing from our Alumni!
A number of our breathtakingly spectacular alumni shared what they are up to out there in the wide, wide world! Could we get a better community of creative makers? No we could not.
Wrapping up at Pratt! Working at Calvin Klein!
This update came in from Grace -- Congrats on everything!
"Since finishing my senior thesis, I made it into the senior fashion show, which was so exciting, and the collection was even shot by Vogue (still feels unreal!). I also spent the summer interning at Madewell / J.Crew, and I just started my first full-time role at Calvin Klein as a women’s denim designer!
I really just wanted to say thank you to Ms. Butterfield. I truly wouldn’t be where I am without you! Everything you taught me and the support you gave me meant so much to me and still does. I’m endlessly grateful for you and for how much you inspired me."
Aine Cole!
Aine is a fabulous local artist working in watercolor and acrylic! She states, "My paintings reflect a deep love of landscape, movement, and the quiet details of wild places. I love to travel and often find inspiration in the recurring colors and forms found in nature." Check out her beautiful originals and prints on her website!
