From the Principal's Desk
October 16, 2026
Dear Glen Oaks Families,
Today your students witnessed stunts and tricks from professional BMX bikers, and they heard a great message about perseverance and treating others with kindness. This is just another way our incredible PTA brings great experiences to our students!
As our first quarter of school comes to an end, you will be able to view your child's report card in the Skyward Family Access center beginning at 5pm today (10/16). If you need help accessing your account, please visit the McKinney ISD Skyward Help page. You may also watch this short video on Accessing Grades in Family Access. You will also be able to see beginning of year MAP results under the Test Results tile. Please take time to review your child's progress and reach out if you have any questions. Our teachers will be setting goals with your students and continuing to guide them towards growth at their level.
~Kristi Andrews

PALS
We are excited to announce that we will be having PALS from McKinney Boyd High School on our campus again this year. The PALS are a group of students who applied, interviewed, and were selected from over 150 applicants to mentor students within MISD; it is a very rigorous process to go through to be selected. Your child might have a PAL working with their classroom, helping during specials, or spending time with their grade level at lunch or recess. We are thankful for this opportunity to partner with Boyd High School PALS and look forward to all of the ways they will positively impact our Tigers.
