Please report all student absences, including early outs/late arrivals in Skyward Family Access via an attendance request if your child is going to miss school. This can be done in the app or on a computer. When submitting an Early Out or Late Arrival absence request, please be sure to UNSELECT the 'all day check mark'. This ensures the attendance office knows what time your child will be leaving and/or arriving. Campus attendance email is for submitting documentation, such as a doctor's note. If you have any questions, please contact Norma Placencia at nplacencia@lcisd.net or call the front office.

Additionally, the campus must receive documentation, such as a doctor's note, verifying your child’s absence within two (2) school days of a student’s return. To ensure efficient communication, we encourage all documentation to be emailed to lbmsattendance@lcisd.net email; however, a faxed or paper copy is acceptable.

Please join us!!

Guests are allowed to join us for lunch. Due to space limitations, we would ask that guests be limited to immediate family to ensure we have enough seating for our students. Additionally, we take attendance every period of the day, so checking a student out early will result in an unexcused absence unless their is a documented reason, such as a doctors appointment. Unexcused absences have an impact on exemption days next month.

Please see the criteria below for achieving exemption days at the end of the semester.

Nominate a teacher for the Mrs. Baird's Teachers on the Rise award, sponsored by Mrs. Baird's and United Supermarkets!

Students (with help from parents) are able to nominate special teachers by clicking here and selecting “Lubbock,” where they can submit a short essay on how their teacher goes above and beyond the call of duty. Teachers On The Rise winners receive great prizes including a $100 United Supermarkets shopping spree, a $100 AMEX gift card from Mrs Baird's Bread, and a gift basket full of goodies from Mrs Baird's Bread. Students who nominate a winning teacher will receive a $50 American Express gift card!

Due to security concerns, no outside entity (DoorDash, Pizza delivery, Chick-fil-a delivery, etc.) will be allowed to drop off lunches for students. Parents/Guardians may bring lunch for their students. Lunch can be dropped off in the front office. Please be sure your student knows they are getting lunch so they can come pick it up near the office.
