Dear Basswood Families,

We had a great day celebrating a successful Read A Thon. A few weeks ago the students voted and their top pick for a celebration was to challenge Mrs. Kennedy to a race. As we waited for nice weather and for the field to firm up, the enthusiasm grew about race day. The kids had a little swagger about how fast they were and today they had a chance to prove it. The weather was great for running and it was a great celebration.

Thank you to all who helped with the Read a Thon, to our students that met their reading goal and to the many people that invested in the students at Basswood financially. We appreciate you!

I hope to see many of you at the Carnival this evening!

Basswood Principal
