MISSIONARY SPOTLIGHT
Harry and Geri Harm - SIL Global
Praises:
- Harry has recovered from the accident at Bangkok Airport which broke his leg.
- As you know the US is expensive but Social Security plus your faithful giving has been a blessing.
- Geri attends security meetings online but last month got to attend a global gathering here in Dallas of other security experts.
Requests:
- We are making plans for the next decade of our Bible translation ministry.
- Support for Bible translation has declined the last few years. Projects are getting creative. Tanzanian Deaf are using agriculture to supplement other funding sources. We arranged for them to get expert training in September from ECHO.
- The world is a dangerous place and the danger is increasing. Pray that Geri will find the information she needs to help people avoid unnecessary risks.
- Deaf in several central African countries have asked for Harry’s help as they make videos about Ebola.
