Welcome to a brand-new school year! We are excited to welcome our Panthers back and look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, and unforgettable memories.

Thank you for trusting us with your children. Together, as families and school partners, we will create a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment where every student can thrive.

We can't wait to see our students on Monday. Let's make this our best year yet!

Once a Panther, Always a Panther!

Sincerely,

Maria G Legarreta

Gadsden High School Principal

Hi, Parents! It has been a busy month here in the nursing office, but we have been enjoying getting to know your kids. Here in the health office, we have been seeing a lot of our students struggling to stay awake. They often request to come to the nurse just to rest and sleep because they aren't getting good sleep at home. Attached is a hand out of some ways to encourage your teen to get good sleep hygiene. Sleep is so important for their overall health and wellness. Let's help our teens stay rested and healthy as we go into cold and flu season!

Panther Community and Visitors:

Our GHS sports teams start their respective seasons this week, we would like to tell you that our GISD Athletic Department is going to utilize Go Fan to purchase tickets for games.

Gadsden High School has an amazing group of staff members that are part of our students' experiences during instructional time and after school events.

All our staff is dedicated to bring the best in our community and I can't thank them enough for their dedication, hard work, and involvement with our students.

Please take the time to thank them for everything they do.

Our Gadsden High School FFA students had the opportunity to attend the FFA Leadership Conference in Deming! We are proud to see our Panthers stepping outside the classroom to build their leadership skills, connect with others, and continue growing.

Thank you to our FFA advisors for creating these opportunities for our students.

Our 10th-grade Panthers are bringing U.S. History to life in the hallways of our Academic Building! It’s great to see learning extend beyond the classroom and our students engaging with history in creative and meaningful ways.

Every hallway can be a place to learn!

GHS was proud to host an exciting three-day volleyball tournament Thursday, Friday, and Saturday! It was great to see our gym filled with athletes, families, students, and school spirit.

A big thank you to our coaches, staff, volunteers, and everyone who helped make the tournament a success.

Proud of our Lady Panthers and the way they represented GHS!

Gadsden High School is proud to support our students as they sign their commitment with Evolvement – Promoting a Tobacco-Free New Mexico. By taking this pledge, our Panthers are choosing to advocate for healthier schools, healthier communities, and a tobacco-free future.

We are proud to see our students using their voices to make a positive difference!
