GT Mentor Seminar (ISM) GT Mentor Seminar (ISM)

The GT Mentorship Program (ISM) is designed to help students gain a deeper understanding of the industry and develop the skills and knowledge required for a successful career. Their mentors offer advice on educational pathways, career choices, and how to navigate the job market effectively. Students gain hands-on experience in their chosen field. This will not only enhance their skills but also provide them with real-world exposure, which is invaluable for their future career and college opportunities.

Current ISM Students recognize the immense growth they've undergone throughout the year, both academically and personally, as they've navigated challenges, pursued their passions, and delved into areas of interest with unparalleled depth and rigor. With their presentations serving as a culmination of their ISM journey, students are poised to leave a lasting impression, showcasing not only their academic prowess but also their ability to take ownership of their learning and make meaningful contributions to their fields of study.

Special Thanks to all the wonderful Mentors!

GT Student Leadership 1 GT Student Leadership 1

In GT 1, students have been immersed in a comprehensive exploration of building wealth and career choices through a budget project and presentation. They've delved into the intricacies of financial management, learning to allocate resources effectively, prioritize expenses, and make informed decisions to achieve long-term financial goals. Through this hands-on project, students not only gain practical skills in budgeting but also develop a deeper understanding of the importance of financial literacy in navigating their future paths.

Budget Challenge Presentations! The presentations were brimming with imaginative AI-generated and Photoshopped images crafted by students.

GT Student Leadership 2: Community Service GT Student Leadership 2: Community Service

GT 2 is dedicated to promoting various service opportunities for students. We aim to inspire and engage our school in meaningful volunteer work that benefits our community and helps them grow as responsible, empathic individuals.

GT 2 Service Projects:

San Antonio Humane Society: We’re putting together special gift bags to celebrate every animal adopted from the San Antonio Humane Society. These adoption bags are filled with love and essentials to help our furry friends and their new families start their journey together on the right paw. It’s our way of saying “congrats” and supporting a happy, healthy new beginning!

Libraries For Learners: We're collecting new and gently used children's books to support new teachers as they build welcoming and enriching classroom libraries. Your donation can spark a love of reading and help students thrive. Every book makes a difference!"
Sanrio Snuggles: We’re collecting small to medium-sized stuffed animals to support elementary school counselors in their work with students. Each stuffed animal will receive a special “Beanie Baby-style” tag created by students to help spark connection and comfort. These cuddly companions will be given out during counseling sessions to offer encouragement, emotional support, and a little extra love when it’s needed most.
